SQUIRTER™ DTIs sandwiches have been selected by Clampcrete for use on their highway crash barriers.

The sandwich design, with a proven certified set of plate washer, soft low-load SQUIRTER™ DTIs, and flat washer, was chosen because it allowed a better, more foolproof anchor rod TENSION installation than the torque settings they had been using. 1" diameter hardware certified to a rod tension of 36 kips was selected for their initial installations on the Boston Central Artery.
