Standard DTI FAQs
Does the bolt/nut assembly Rotational Capacity Test involve DTI's?
No. The Rc test, as it is called, is a test of the bolt/nut friction
factor, which is to ensure that, at the time of testing at least, the
bolt CAN be tensioned past a certain level without fracture or failure
otherwise. It is not a test of a DTI, and does not include a DTI.
