Jobsite Bolt Storage
Even
though the "blue tarp" is standard practice that has been used for 20-30
years to store bolts, it actually can cause more harm than good. The condensation
that forms on the underside of the tarp will drip back into the kegs and
wash off the water soluable lube. Also, did you know, that without the
lid on the keg the lube will actually evaporate!
If you can't find a dry shelter for your bolts, we understand. Check out our MacDermid's Torque and Control Fluid. This moose juice is a more weather resistant lube than the manufacturer's that will knock down your torque making pretensioning easy.
